Day 15 of #30DaysWild looks at Robin and my walk down to the River Don.
We are lucky enough to live really close to the River Don, it only takes us about five minutes to walk there from our house. Today first thing, Robin had his 4 month injections. So afterwards I decided we would go for a walk so he could have a sleep and some fresh air.
This time of year the landscape is so green and wild looking. Trees over hang the path and everything looks in full working order.
I have to say this trip was a little quiet on the wildlife front. You usually see Herons out catching their lunch. But I could only hear them clacking away in their nests in the tall trees.
Further up the River there were two swans with their cygnets. Unfortunately I couldn’t get near as the track wasn’t pram friendly.
Here are a few photos I took on our walk, hopefully my next trip will have a bit more going on.
