This weekend I have been down in Berkshire attending the wedding of my university friend Sarah. Not only was it a wonderful occasion to see Sarah and her husband, but also my uni friends Sophie and Lyndsey.
Day 12 of 30 Days Wild is all about the wedding venue Wasing Park and the beautiful surroundings.
Wasing Park offers the perfect location for the bride who wants to get married in a barn wedding venue. Before I share the photos from the grounds I want to share the flowers that were part of the ceremony as they were truly gorgeous. I literally spent ages staring at them! Now I know some people aren’t fussed with flowers at weddings but for me they are so important. The venue was beautiful already inside, but don’t you think floral displays just help bring things to life that bit more?
The cake made by a family friend of Sarah’s was also amazing. The roses featured on the cake looked so realistic, it is so inspiring. I can’t imagine ever being able to create something so beautiful and intricate out of sugar!
The next morning after the wedding I went for a quick wander around the grounds. Such a lovely location and the red brick really sets off the flowers in the gardens. I could have taken loads more pics but unfortunately the taxi was waiting! What an amazing location to have a wedding and I wish Mr and Mrs Johnson all the best for their future together.
