So I’ve created a new blog, got my banner sorted and written my intro section, now what? Well it’s time to write some content of course!
For those of you who have read my intro page, you will have seen that I have signed up to take part in the #30DaysWild challenge. I”ll be doing this via social media and also through blogging from 1st June for one month.
So what happens during #30DaysWild?
Everyday I will blog, Tweet, Instagram and Facebook content about whichever wild act of nature I get up to that day. Be it listening to the grass rustle in the wind, a photograph of the birds in my garden or a crafty project based on wildlife. I will be joining thousands of other people around the UK and hopefully it will inspire people to do something new or look at their surroundings in a different light.
I love this initiative that is being run by the Wildlife Trust. I think the reason I love it is that it helps me combine my interest for digital marketing and social media with my love of wildlife. It also gives me an opportunity to contribute to this great campaign, to help highlight wildlife and also spread awareness of some important environmental issues. It is also a great opportunity for me to challenge myself to see and do different things and to document the journey.
What about after #30DaysWild ends?
This blog wasn’t just created for the sole purpose of taking part in the campaign, it has however encouraged me to get started. Beyond June I will still continue to blog about wildlife and nature. I will also blog about the many other hobbies I have ranging from gardening and knitting to playing the cello and photography.
So I hope that you decide to join me on my blogging quest, I sure would like to have you tag along and please get involved in the conversation. I would love to hear from you!
